Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. As one of the first points of contact for potential customers, you’ll play a critical role in driving Amplify’s growth by identifying high-potential e-commerce brands, sparking interest in our platform, and setting up qualified meetings for our Account Executives. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on outbound prospecting, creative outreach, and strategic lead generation within the e-commerce space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, research, and target high-potential e-commerce brands through outbound outreach (cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other channels).
• Create and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified leads for the Account Executive team.
• Craft compelling outreach messages that speak to the needs of Shopify and other e-commerce merchants.
• Qualify leads through discovery calls and assess whether they are a good fit for Amplify.
• Collaborate closely with AEs and marketing to continuously improve outreach strategy and messaging.
• Stay up to date on trends in e-commerce, upsell strategies, and the Shopify ecosystem to add value during prospect interactions.
• Log activity, notes, and insights in the CRM to ensure a smooth handoff to Account Executives.
Requirements:
• 1–2+ years of experience in a sales development or outbound prospecting role, ideally in SaaS or e-commerce tech.
• Familiarity with the e-commerce industry; experience in the Shopify ecosystem is a strong plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging outreach messages.
• Self-starter mentality and comfort working in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Persistent, curious, and not afraid of rejection - you’re motivated by hitting goals and learning through iteration.
• Experience using tools like HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar is a plus.
